"She brought out this humor in him, and he brought out this depth in her. There was a magical quality about them. Andrew has an ability to do emotional gravity really well. Emma’s presence is so light. Put them together and they had spontaneous grounded realism. They were so naturalistic. They never fake things." - Marc Webb
“He no longer believes I’m human.
Is there a point when one of you gets tired of the other and you have like a safe word?
"It wasn’t like I did Orphan Black and was like, [in a snooty voice] “I can’t wait to be nominated for an Emmy.” I was just like, “I’m so excited I’m doing this show. I hope I can get through the day without passing out.” All that stuff feels exterior. The support and the ferocious fandom that got angry about it, that’s lovely. But ultimately, the awards have no bearing on it. They’re great, they open a door for actors, but putting too much of your worth on those things — it’s so weird. It’s just so warped. We put so much value on it and it’s so not what it’s about.” - Tatiana Maslany on the Emmy snub.
Definitely, we’re really good friends. Unfortunately, we’ve both been very busy, we haven’t been able to see each other but we’ve texted a bunch. We’re always in constant communication though. She’s SO amazing, I couldn’t imagine doing this series with any other person, she’s such a great person, and she’s so talented and so beautiful and so genuine and real. I’m so thankful that I have her. — Josh Hutcherson.
